Dora Yeboaa says, ‘I am a trader and I sell fried eggs and bread at the roadside of my town. I wish to get more money so that I can expand my business. I wish to make it a very big business so lenders please help me to reach my target. I know you will help.’
While Dora has not been with Zidisha long, starting in late 2020, she is highly motivated and is eager to learn and grow her business, selling larger quantities and expanding her product base for her customers.
It is not always easy for entrepreneurs to secure loans either through banks or other means of investment. Because of this, Zidisha and its amazing lenders are able to fill a much-needed void for entrepreneurs, especially those just starting out.
Through her relationship with the Zidisha community and lenders, Dora is working hard to expand her trading business in order to take care of her family.
Between December 2020 and November 2021, Dora has successfully raised 7 Zidisha funded loans, ranging from her first loan of $12 to her most recent of $68.
After having a few loans under her belt, Dora took to her Zidisha discussion page and shared, ‘I really thank my lenders very much. I’m going to use it to expand my trading business and hope to get more from my lenders so that my trading business will be bigger. What I want to tell my lenders is I really appreciate it.’
Today Dora is so appreciative to have her lenders and the entire Zidisha community supporting her as she learns and grows.
