‘I’m Moses Chore, 30 years old, a Kenyan citizen, working with a Kenya pipeline company. And I am running another business in Nairobi Kitengela supplying gas to hotels and colleges.’
His business income is ksh 75000 per month and sometimes he works overtime and is able to earn up to ksh 80000.
In his time with Zidisha, since joining in 2018, he has raised almost ten loans, allowing him to slowly grow his business.
When he first joined Zidisha he started out raising $11 and said, ‘I will further my study to a degree level so that I can work in any organization. And expanding my business to other locations.’
After that, he expanded his business by buying more cylinders and worked to supply to a new location.
Most recently, he shared, ‘If you kindly allow me to have this loan, I will manage to enlarge my business by increasing the stocks both in volume and diversity. I will have more to offer my clients and this in turn will increase my income through which I will manage to provide my clients with LPG.’
As the breadwinner for his family, Moses is also able to use his business profits to pay for his brother’s school fees.
